$45000 Donation to Build Veterans Memorial

In May 2014, the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club announced that they would be donating $45,000, toward the construction of the Veterans Memorial located at the Lake in the Hills Village Hall.

At the May 20, 2014 Committee of the Whole meeting, the Rotary Club of Lake in the Hills announced they would be donating $45,000, which would span over three separate donations, toward the construction of the Veterans Memorial located at the Lake in the Hills Village Hall.

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016 the Rotary Club presented Village President Paul Mulcahy with their final donation of $15,000 for the Veterans Memorial. The funds raised by the Rotary Club of Lake in the Hills come exclusively from the club's signature event, Rotary Rockin' RibFest, which takes place the weekend after the 4th of July every year.
