Rotary Donates Cart to Village

The Lake in the Hills Rotary presented an electric cart to the Village of Lake in the Hills. The cart was one of the many items on the villages list of items to purchase and this gift allows the village to use those funds in other ways.

Club President Tom Stock surrounded by many fellow Rotarians drove the vehicle directly into the chamber. As he presented the village with the cart Mr. Stock stated that first and foremost our Rotary Club is about Lake in the Hills, and the funds we raise go back into the community. While some of the funds from last years Rockin Rotary Ribfest have gone to help those in Guatemala, most of our funds have been put to use here at home, with our support of Turning Point and the Lake in the Hills Food Pantry, tonight's gift is just another way we can give back.
